Ask any follower of Folk music in New Brunswick what the word Oran means and those who have heard these wonderful singers
and musicians will invariably say " great music" and " entertainment for the whole family".
The group was formed in 1983 and are celebrating their 25th anniverasry of making music together. They have performed
nationally on Vision TV and CBC radio as well as ATV and have shared the stage with such noted performers as the Irish
group Barley Bree and many others Oran was one of the first Celtic groups of its kind in New Brunswick when they formed back
in 1983.
Jam Session to follow concert in the Beaverbrook Kin
Centre for those 19 and over - Open Mic, bring your voice, instruments etc. Let us close off the 51th Anniversary of the Miramichi
Folksong Festival in fine style as only Miramichiers know how to do.
